The Championship is open to female amateur golfers, with a certified handicap index of 11.5 or less and who belong to a WEGA Member Club (or have school affiliation) that has paid dues for 2008. Clubs and schools in the following states are eligible to join the Association: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
The field will be limited to the eighty (80) applicants with the lowest handicap index.
A current GHIN or IGN card must accompany the entry. Entry must be filled out in its entirety, signed and postmarked on or before May 9th, 2008. Post entries will be accepted is the field is not full. Notification of acceptance will be mailed by May 16th, 2008. Other applicants will be placed on a waiting list in order of handicap index, and vacancies will be offered in that order. Waiting list applicants will be notified of their status. A signature of parent or guardian will be required for applicants under 18 years of age.

54 Hole Stroke Play Championship
A Contestant will be required to pay both the Entry Fee and the Host Club Fee and include the checks (2) with her entry form. 1. Entry Fee: $90.00 Make check payable to WEGA. 2. HOST CLUB FEE is $100.00 payable to DuPont Country Club. This fee includes range balls and cart fee for four days. Club storage is available for $10.00 per day payable at registration. A player may carry her own bag but the full fee still applies.
Total refund for cancellations up to June 2nd, 2008. Entry Fee will NOT be refunded after June 2nd, 2008. Host Club Fee will NOT be refunded after June 6th, 2008.
No outside caddies permitted.
Contestants MUST register on Monday, June 9th from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at DuPont Country Club or notify the Committee of late arrival. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of place. DuPont Country Club Golf Shop: 302-421-1753.

This is MANDATORY and will be held at the club on MONDAY, JUNE 9th at 5:30 p.m.
Dupont Country Club is a soft-spike and non-denim facility. Shorts/skorts must be at least Bermuda length, not more than 5" above the knees.
Cell phones are not permitted on the golf course.

DRIVE CONTEST - Hosted by WEGA at DuPont Country Club on
Tuesday
Prizes are awarded to the Champion and the Runner Up and the 8 Low Gross Finishers.
The OSGOOD SHIELD award is given for team stroke play and is competed for concurrently with the Championship. Teams must have a minimum of five (5) players and will be drawn. Posting 5 gross scores daily, the team having the lowest 3 day aggregate score wins the Shield. Prizes will be awarded to the winning team.
